Grillz FAQ: Toronto questions answered
Grillz Toronto answers the most common grillz questions: grillz cost from $90 per tooth in silver, they don’t require drilling, you take them out to eat and sleep, and plain sets are ready in 5–10 days (gold and iced in 10–15).
How much do grillz cost in Toronto?
Our prices are per tooth in CAD, before tax: solid silver $90, dental chrome / gold-tone $110, 10K gold $320, 14K gold $450, 18K gold $540. Iced silver with moissanite starts at $180 and iced gold at $450. A six-tooth 14K bottom set is therefore $2,700 before tax.
Do grillz damage your teeth?
Custom-moulded grillz are removable and sit over your natural teeth with no drilling or filing. Problems come from poor hygiene — food and bacteria trapped under a grill worn all day and night. Brush before putting them in, take them out to sleep and eat, and keep up regular dental check-ups.
Can I eat or drink with my grillz in?
Take them out to eat. Water is fine; avoid coloured, sugary or acidic drinks with them in, because liquid can sit between the metal and your teeth.
How long do grillz take to make?
Plain silver and chrome sets take 5–10 days after we receive a good mould. Gold and iced pieces take 10–15 days because of casting and stone setting.
Can I take my grillz out?
Yes. Every grill we make is removable. They clip on with a snug friction fit to your own teeth and come out with gentle pressure from a fingernail.
How do I clean my grillz?
Rinse after each wear, brush gently with a soft toothbrush and mild unscented soap, dry fully and store in the case. For iced pieces, use a soft brush around the settings. Never use bleach or toothpaste with abrasives on polished gold.
Gold or silver grillz — which should I choose?
Silver is the most affordable and very bright, but it can tarnish and needs regular polishing. Gold doesn’t tarnish, feels heavier and holds its value. Many clients start with silver and upgrade later.
What’s the difference between 10K and 14K gold grillz?
10K is about 42% pure gold, harder and more scratch-resistant, with a paler yellow. 14K is about 58% gold, richer in colour and the most popular balance of durability and shine. 18K (75%) is the warmest colour but softest.
Do you ship grillz across Canada?
Yes. We mail an impression kit anywhere in Canada. You take the moulds at home, send them back, approve the design by email and we ship the finished grillz with tracking.
I’m visiting Toronto — is there time to get grillz?
Silver can be ready within 5–10 days and gold within 10–15 days of a good mould. If your stay is shorter, take the mould in person on arrival and we can ship the finished piece to your home address in Canada, or arrange pickup on a return trip.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is taken before casting begins, once you have approved the design. Your booking request on this site does not take any payment.
Is white, yellow or rose gold more expensive?
No. White, yellow and rose gold cost the same at the same karat.
Do you do home visits?
Yes, across Toronto and the GTA. We bring the impression materials to you and take upper and lower moulds in about 20 minutes. Choose “home visit” in the booking form.
What stones can you set in iced grillz?
Moissanite, lab-grown diamond and natural diamond. Moissanite is the most affordable and very brilliant; diamonds are quoted individually after we see your mould and design.
Can I get just one tooth?
Yes. Single caps are one of our most popular orders, priced at the per-tooth rate for the metal you choose.
Will grillz affect how I speak?
Most people notice a slight lisp for the first day or two, especially with a full top set. Because our grillz are moulded tight to your teeth, speech usually returns to normal quickly.
Are your grillz hypoallergenic?
Solid gold and 925 silver are well tolerated by most people. If you have a known metal allergy, tell us before casting and we will advise on the best option.
Where is Grillz Toronto located?
Grillz Toronto is a custom grillz studio in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The exact studio location is shared when you book, and we also offer home visits across the GTA and a mail-in impression kit anywhere in Canada.
How do I book a mould appointment?
Book through the configurator on our Customise page, by email at contact@grillz-toronto.com, or on WhatsApp. Choose a studio appointment or a home visit and a preferred date, and we confirm by reply.
Can I message you on WhatsApp?
Yes, WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach us. Use the green WhatsApp button on any page; it opens a chat with a pre-filled message you can edit before sending.
Do you make permanent grillz?
No, Grillz Toronto only makes removable grillz. Permanent gold teeth such as cemented crowns are dental procedures that must be done by a licensed dentist.
How much is a full set of grillz in Toronto?
A full set costs the per-tooth price multiplied by the number of teeth. For example, eight top teeth in 14K gold is 8 × $450 = $3,600 before tax, and a bottom six in solid silver is 6 × $90 = $540.
What payment and deposit do you take?
We take a deposit before casting, once you approve your design. The balance is due at pickup or before shipping; nothing is charged when you submit a booking request on this website.
Can I mix metals or colours in one set?
Yes, you can mix metals and gold colours in one set. Each tooth is priced at the rate of the metal used on it, and white, yellow and rose gold cost the same at the same karat.
What if my grillz don’t fit?
We adjust the fit at pickup so your grillz click on snugly. If your teeth change after dental work, contact us and we will advise whether an adjustment or a new mould is needed.
Is there a minimum age for grillz?
We only mould adult teeth that have fully come in, and clients under 18 need a parent or guardian’s consent. Anyone with braces, loose teeth or ongoing dental treatment should see a dentist first.
